FIRE AND EXPLOSIONS

Federated Investigations Service’s primary goal is to investigate fires, whether vehicle or structure, to determine the nature of the cause and origin of the fire. Additionally, all evidence of the fire will be collected in accordance with state or federal guidelines respectively. Further, our investigators will draw appropriate conclusions and testify accordingly. Lastly, a background investigation of the claimant may be conducted to determine grounds for suspicion of arson and uncover evidence of fraud if such exists.

Since the mid-1980’s, qualifications for expert testimony in fire investigation has steadily increased. In light of the inception of the Federal Rules of Evidence, and holdings by the United States Supreme Court and various state courts, the bar has been significantly elevated for proffering expert testimony in fire cause and origin. INVESTIGATION

We will conduct in-depth background investigations of individual and companies for several purposes - - including the confirmation of information provided by potential applications for sensitive or key positions.

LITIGATION

Our agents will investigate claimants to illicit evidence of un-admitted activities and/or proof of pre-existing impairment. Also, the alleged accident will be examined to determine whether the injury occurred during covered employment. These services are most useful in workers' compensation, federal employers' liability act (FELA) or personal injury claims. Our firm has extensive experience and training in this regard and is often the necessary lynch-pin to difficult cases.
